This baby came to us from Osceola Animal Control. She was a stray on the street. When we got her, she had severe ear infections, was dehydrated, half starved and had severe allergies to grass and fleas.
We had the honor of having Libby with us for about 2 ½ years. She was a sweetheart. Dr. Bill and Dr. Joy took incredible care of her and she loved sleeping under homemade blankets made by her human Grandmom. She went deaf eventually because of the damage already done to her ears but would simply watch us to see what we were doing and continued to join in.
She will always have a place in our hearts. (And yes...she looks like a deer and is known in the chihuahua world as a deer head chihuahua!)
